Your First Visit
A one to one with the nutritionist will help you to see exactly the best foodstuffs to eat and how to get the most out of your nutrition. Although this won't mean a complete change of diet, you will learn how to get the most from what you eat and how to pinpoint any deficiencies.
Initial visit
- Your arrival
- One of our supportive team will greet you when you arrive and ensure that you are made comfortable in our soothing environment. One of the chiropractic assistants will help you fill out an assessment form. These details will assist us in making a full diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
- Consultation
- After the paperwork completion your chiropractor will take full information on your current condition, your previous medical condition and your lifestyle. It is important to give the consultant as muich information as possible, even if you feel it's unimportant.
- Examination - approximately 30 mins
- After taking your case history, the chiropractor will carry out a full chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological examination. An x-ray will be taken if necessary for a more accurate diagnosis See Why X-ray?.
- Follow up report
- The follow up appointment will let you know the findings from your initial consultation and you will go over any x-rays and pinpoint anything which is immediately apparent.
The chiropractor will then explain the diagnosis and then discuss the length, cost and frequency of follow up treatment.
- First treatment
- During the first treatment session the chiropractor will explain what remedies or therapy you can do at home in order to speed up your recovery time.
Before you leave, a member of the chiropractic team will help you book the most convenient days and appointment time.
