How does Chiropractic work?
The spinal column is made of 24 moving bones called vertebrae. Contained within the spinal column is the spinal cord and with the brain makes up the central nervous system. The central nervous system makes every part of your body work including organs, muscles, ligaments and joints to name a few. The nervous system controls every cell in the body and is like a network of electrical wires messaging information to and from your brain to the rest of your body.
Because of the close relationship between you spine and nervous system, spinal misalignments/restrictions can diminish nerve function and potentially create a wide variety of symptoms. Our practice focuses on finding out where these spinal misalignments/restrictions are and gently and specifically remove that interference, allowing your nervous system function to reach its maximum potential.
