How did Chiropractic start?
Chiropractic began in the state of Iowa, USA in 1895. It was here that the founder of Chiropractic, Daniel David Palmer performed the first Chiropractic adjustment on a partially deaf janitor named Harvey Lillard. Both D.D Palmer and Harvey Lillard were astounded to find that Harvey's Lillard hearing had improved. This is how Chiropractic was born and 2 years later in 1897, D.D palmer opened the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. This institution is still graduating chiropractors today.
